Ilaria
FOUNDER, SCIENTIST, and project manager
Ilaria earned her PhD in Molecular Medicine from the University of Turin, Italy. Her research expertise spans developmental neuroscience, immunology, and oncology. With over a decade of experience in biomedical research, Ilaria has contributed to more than 30 projects and authored over 20 publications in international scientific journals. She has also served as a reviewer for scientific publications and grant proposals. Ilaria has been a member of the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) since 2014.
In addition to her research work, Ilaria collaborates with the consulting firm PreScouter on projects related to sustainability and innovation. Currently, she is a consultant for international business development for EU- and US-based startups. She recently completed an MBA focusing on entrepreneurship and finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Ilaria is a certified PMP® (Project Management Professional) and PMI (Project Management Institute) member.

Fiona is the company’s mascot. Fun fact, Anubis BC’s logo was inspired by the shape of her head.

Suzanne
PHYSICIAN, UI/UX DEVELOPER, HEALTHCARE IT, SAAS
Suzanne is a physician with over 18 years of Healthcare IT experience and 25 years overall in Healthcare. Her clinical background has enabled her to serve as the essential "bridge" between clinical staff, IT personnel, C-suite leadership, and various vendors. She fully understands the pain points that impede optimal healthcare delivery and knows how to address them effectively. Suzanne's combination of clinical expertise and nearly two decades of healthcare IT consulting makes her a rare asset in today's market. She is well-versed in most popular medical software platforms, including EPIC EHR and EPICCare, Allscripts (now Veradigm) SCM and ED, eClinical Works (eCW), NextGen, as well as other less common systems.


Karina
IMMUNOLOGY, VIROLOGY, FLOW CYTOMETRY
Karina has a strong background in immunology, oncology, and infectious diseases, with extensive experience in immunological assays like ELISA, ELISPOT, and flow cytometry. She specializes in designing and analyzing multicolor panels for human and animal models and is skilled in developing new protocols for flow cytometry and cell sorting. Her work significantly advances immunological research across diverse disease models. Karina's expertise makes her a valuable asset in medical research, where her ability to innovate and adapt protocols enhances the understanding of complex immunological processes, driving progress and fostering new insights and breakthroughs in the field.
She's currently attending the Master's in Organization Development and Change from the Weatherhead School of Business at CWRU.
Neetha
SCIENTIFIC COMMUNICATIONS, PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Neetha is a seasoned science communicator and biomedical researcher with over 15 years of translational research experience in cancer biology and immunology. Currently serving as a Science Communicator at Impact Science, Cactus Communications, she specializes in transforming complex medical research into accessible content through graphical abstracts, infographics, video summaries, and plain language communications.
With a Ph.D. in Life Sciences from the National Institute of Immunology in New Delhi, India, she brings deep expertise in immunology, hematology, and cancer biology. Beyond research, she has contributed significantly to scientific education, serving as an instructor at Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine and mentoring numerous trainees from high school through medical graduate levels. Her unique combination of rigorous scientific training and current focus on science communication makes her exceptionally qualified to bridge the gap between cutting-edge research and public understanding, ensuring that groundbreaking medical discoveries reach and benefit broader audiences.
